Dream Machine is Luma AI's creative app built around its Ray3 family of video models, which can output HDR and EXR footage for post-production. The same credit balance also covers partner models such as Seedance and Kling, plus reframing, extending and upscaling tools. It fits filmmakers and studios who care about color-grade-ready footage; there is no free plan.
- Ray3 models can render HDR and EXR output for grading workflows
- Cheap draft mode (e.g. 20 credits per 5s on Ray3.2) for iterating
- Commercial use included from the entry Plus plan
- No free plan; cheapest plan is $30/month
- 1080p Ray3.2 generations are expensive (400 credits per 5s)
- Team features and SSO require contacting sales
Moonvalley makes Marey, a text-to-video and image-to-video model that the company says is trained only on licensed, high-resolution footage, which it presents as commercially safe. It targets professional filmmakers with director-style controls such as camera control, motion and pose transfer, trajectory drawing, keyframing and shot extension. Marey is available in Moonvalley's own app and through partners such as fal.ai and ComfyUI.
- Moonvalley says Marey is trained only on licensed footage, with no scraped content
- Fine-grained controls: camera control, motion/pose transfer, trajectory control, keyframing and shot extension
- Native 1080p output with no upscaling (Marey Realism v1.5)
- Moonvalley's own public API is waitlist-only; developers currently go through fal.ai or ComfyUI
- Pricing is not listed on the public website; you have to sign up to see plans
- Terms forbid reselling access or sharing API keys without written permission
